Central Government Jobs
Central government employees work for Union of India and can be posted anywhere in India through our their career . Central government jobs could further be classified in four different groups.

Group A ,Group B, Group C and Group D

Group A Jobs

Group A jobs requires lot of administrative duties and are most sought after government jobs in the country. The selection into these administrative post are through Civil service examination (UPSC). Candidates join different administrative posts like IPS,IAS,IFS,IRS etc depending upon the rank and preference of the candidate. UPSC also conducts examinations for technical posts such as.

The major difference between Group-B Gazetted and Non-Gazetted officers is that those falling in the latter category do not hold significant administrative role. They cannot personally authorize official stamp issuance on government’s behalf. Employees working with PSUs and Nationalized Banks are also under the non-gazetted category.

Group C Positions

Group `C' posts perform supervisory as well as operative tasks . They render clerical assistance in ministries and field organisations.

Naib Tehsildar

Group D positions

Group D workers are generally semi skilled or manual workers . Example of group D workers are Peons, Sweepers, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Trackmen Grade IV on Railways etc

Public Sector Jobs

State owned companies in India are known as Public Sector Companies. Central Government or State government owns Public Sector Companies. Companies stocks needs to be majority owned by Government. How to get a PSU job ?

PSU's generally recruit freshers through GATE or NET exams and lateral through direct selection process. Some of the PSU's which recruit from GATE exams are as below
