Qualification Details: 

1. Post Name; Director(Onshore) - Rs. 180000-340000 (IDA)
 
2. Qualification: The applicant should be an Engineering graduate with good academic record from a recognized University/Institution. Applicants holding Post Graduate degree in Engineering/Management/ relevant Sciences of Geo-Science will have added advantage
 
3. Experience: The applicant should have atleast five years cumulative experience at a senior level of management during the last ten years in an organization of repute in petroleum sector. Experience in exploration & production sector will have added advantage.
 
4. Duration: The appointment shall be for a period of five years from the date of joining or upto the date of superannaution or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
 
5. Job Description: The Director(Onshore) is a member of the Board of Directors and reports to Chairman and Managing Director. He is overall incharge of the Onshore Production Assets Broad responsibility includes:- 1. Performance Management of Onshore Producing Assets, 2. Develop overall strategy for onshore producing assets and ensure its alignment with ONGC strategy. 3. Enhancing performance of the constituent units. Medical Officer: MD/MS/DNB : 3 marks, DM/MCH/Ph.DNB(Super Specialty) : 5 marks
Security Officer : Ph.D : 5 marks

Fire Officer : Ph.D : 5 marks

The candidate needs to clear both CBT and Personal Interview individually to be selected.To qualify in the interview the candidate needs to get atleast 60% marks i.e 9 marks out of 15. SC/ST and PwD are granted 20% waiver in personal interview .

In addtion to CBT and PI the fire officer needs to clear physical standard test as well.

Format of Computer Based Test (CBT): Total Marks :150 marks

1. Concerned Domain.However security related paper consists of security Questions : 80 marks
2. General Awareness : 40 marks
3. Apptitude Test (Consisting of Reading Comprehension,Verbal/Non Verbal Reasoning,Quantitative Aptitude,Data Interpretaion etc) :30 markss

The level of appititude test is generally slightly lower than CAT exam
